- Virtual Connect v3.30 has been released, some of the highlights for the Virtual Connect Flex-10 and FlexFabric Modules are as follows:
- CLI commands provide essential system, configuration and network troubleshooting
- Configure simultaneous tunneled and mapped VLANs in a single VC domain
- Connect up to 1,000 networks per Shared Uplink Set and 162 networks per 10Gb server port
- TACACS+ and RADIUS role-based security compatibility
- Network access groups prevent connection of specific network combinations in the same server profile
- iSCSI boot assistant simplifies boot parameter configuration
- Server side network loop prevention
- With version 6.3, HP Insight Dynamics extends its software functionality beyond HP CloudSystem Matrix across select HP ProLiant, HP Integrity and 3rd party servers. CloudSystem Matrix support for this extended infrastructure includes all of the capabilities of the HP Insight Dynamics with the exception of some physical server deployment and management capabilities. All capabilities of the HP Insight Dynamics are supported for HP BladeSystem servers with Virtual Connect.
- HP SiteScope software is an agentless monitoring solution that ensures the availability and performance of distributed IT infrastructure and application components. HP SiteScope software monitors IT infrastructure and applications remotely without installing any software on target servers. Collect server and application availability and performance data very quickly, across physical and virtual servers. The key benefits include:
- Very fast time to value for IT infrastructure and application monitoring
- Out-of-the-box monitoring for over 100 different applications
- Solution templates that include best practices and threshold values
- Rapid deployment and no agent installation—perfect for hybrid or private cloud environments
