Zunesis recognized by CRN as a top IT solution provider with deep technical expertise and premier certifications for the eighth consecutive year.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 27, 2017

Zunesis announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Zunesis to the 2017 Tech Elite 250 list. This annual list honors an exclusive group of North American IT solution providers that have earned the highest number of advanced technical certifications from leading technology vendors, scaled to their company size. The 2017 recognition marks the eighth consecutive year that Zunesis has earned this award.

To compile the annual list, The Channel Company’s research group and CRN editors work together to identify the most customer-beneficial technical certifications in the North American IT channel. Solution providers that have obtained these elite designations— which enable them to deliver premium products, services and customer support—are then selected from a pool of online applicants.

Zunesis is a very deserving recipient of this award because they place a significant emphasis on technical expertise and certifications. Over the thirteen years that the company has been in business, they have sought to hire, retain, and equip only the best solution architects who can bring the highest value to their clients. It is this deep commitment to extensive technical knowledge that often sets Zunesis apart from their peers.

“This exclusive, ambitious group of solution providers boasts some of the most advanced IT certifications available from top technology suppliers,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “They have adapted impressively to major changes in the IT channel, especially the shift to a more services-driven market, by expanding their skill sets and sharpening both their technical and customer service expertise. Congratulations to our 2017 list, whose robust investment in their organizations has earned them yet another elite designation—the CRN Tech Elite 250.”

“I could not be more proud of our team for achieving this award again this year,” commented Zunesis CEO, Steve Shaffer. “Our solution architects work very diligently to stay on top of, and even ahead of, what is happening in the technology space. Because of their commitment and dedication to be the best at what they do, Zunesis is able to offer top-tier services to our customers.”

Coverage of the Tech Elite 250 will be featured in the April issue of CRN, and online at http://www.crn.com/techelite250.

A hard-working family in Denver now has a home thanks to the partnership of Zunesis.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 14, 2016

Zunesis, an IT solution partner headquartered in Denver, hosted their fifth annual Night of Miracles on Saturday night, November 12th. The event was held at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and featured a range of speakers, including Habitat homeowner Ann Padilla-Parras, 9-time New York Times bestselling author Don Yaeger, and this year’s partner family who received the keys to their new home at the event.

Habitat MD CEO Heather LaffertyNight of Miracles is an annual gala where the goal is to raise enough money to fund one home for a deserving Denver family. The tradition of Night of Miracles was started because Zunesis not only wanted to give back to their community through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, but they also wanted to create an avenue for their valued IT partners in the community to give back as well. Thus, the primary source of funding for the event every year comes from corporate donations provided by Zunesis as well as their IT partners.

When asked about the event, Zunesis CEO, Steve Shaffer, commented, “It’s one of my favorite nights of the year. To see the look on our partner family’s face, the gratitude of the parents and the excitement of their children, when we hand them the keys to their new home is one of the most rewarding experiences. Habitat for Humanity is a fantastic organization, and we’re honored to partner with them.”

This year’s event was a huge success, raising beyond the amount required to build a Habitat home. All additional proceeds also go to Habitat and contribute to even more homes. Megan Shaffer, Marketing Manager at Zunesis, noted at the event, “In this one room, we have Zunesis employees, business partners, customers, and friends all coming together to achieve one goal: and that goal is to change a family’s life forever. It’s an honor to be a part of this.”

The bar is set high for Night of Miracles 2017, and Zunesis is eager to rise to the challenge.

Annual List Features Trailblazing Solution Providers Transforming Business with Emerging Technologies

Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 08, 2016

Zunesis, a Denver-based IT solution provider, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Zunesis to its 2016 Next-Gen 250 list. The annual list recognizes standout IT solution providers who have successfully transformed their businesses to meet the demands of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, unified communications, virtualization, mobility, business analytics and business intelligence. These solution providers, all in business for fewer than 20 years, have adapted to an evolving marketplace with a notable penchant for bringing key technologies to their clients before they become mainstream.

The technology industry is constantly changing with new technologies hitting the market almost daily. At the same time, expectations for IT departments are higher than ever as IT no longer operates in a silo: it permeates every aspect of the business. This is where having a partner like Zunesis – who is ahead of emerging trends in spaces like the cloud, big data, mobility, and security, to name a few – creates a competitive advantage for IT departments who must provide increasing business value with fewer resources and an overwhelming multitude of options.

“It’s our job to be on top of what’s happening in the industry so that we can help our customers determine what solutions are best for their organizations,” said Michael Gosselin, CTO of Zunesis. “Our clients depend on us to help them navigate today’s technologies to put them on the best path for future success.”

“The solution providers on our Next-Gen 250 list are ahead of the curve when it comes to working with emerging technologies and building successful practice areas around them,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “These remarkably agile companies, both established enterprises and new ones, were among the first to architect innovative solutions to meet a brand new set of customer needs. We congratulate the honorees named to this exclusive list and look forward to seeing what other innovations they have in store.”

A sampling of the Next-Gen 250 list will be featured in the December issue of CRN and online at http://www.crn.com/next-gen250 and through the CRN Tech News Tablet App for iPad and Windows 8.

As of October 1st, 2016, Zunesis has been serving customers in the Rocky Mountain region for 12 years.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 03, 2016

Zunesis, an IT solutions partner headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, is thrilled to be celebrating their 12th anniversary on October 1st, 2016. Since the company’s incorporation, they have expanded into Nevada, Wyoming, and Montana. In 2008, they acquired MicroVantage, a Las Vegas-based VAR, that has now become a huge part of their business.

Founded in 2004, Zunesis has spent over a decade seeking to serve their customers and enrich their community. The company attributes their success to their unwavering dedication to three core values:

1.    Make the lives of their clients better: Zunesis believes in serving customers with passion. It focuses on building lasting relationships built on mutual respect and trust. The Zunesis motto is CustomerFIRST, where FIRST is an acrostic standing for the following ideals:

a.    Flexible
b.    Invested
c.    Responsive
d.    Strategic
e.    Trusted

2.    Develop a strong team culture: The company’s unique name is derived from the Greek word “Sunesis,” which means “multiple sources of knowledge and understanding flowing together to create something greater than the sum of the parts.” In essence, it means synergy. Zunesis believes strongly that each member of their team is valuable and necessary, and they work hard at working well together.

3.    Invest in making a positive impact on their community: Zunesis has developed a strong partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. Over the years, Zunesis has provided hundreds of volunteer work hours, corporate build days, leadership on Habitat’s board of directors, and very generous financial contributions to Habitat. In 2011, Zunesis started an annual fundraiser for Habitat called the Night of Miracles. Each year, this event raises enough money to fund an entire home for a hard-working local family.

Zunesis CEO, Steve Shaffer, is thrilled about the anniversary milestone and said that he couldn’t be more grateful for his team and all of their hard work in getting the company to where it is today. “I am blown away by what a great team we have at Zunesis,” he commented. “When we started this company, we wanted to serve our clients and our community. That has been possible over the years because we have such incredible people on staff.”

Zunesis has no plans of slowing down and cannot wait to celebrate another twelve years.

November 12, 2016, will be a night of celebration for Zunesis, their partners, and a very special family.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 02, 2016

Zunesis is excited to announce Saturday, November 12, 2016, as the date for their fifth annual Night of Miracles. The Night of Miracles is an evening to celebrate having raised the funds to build a Habitat for Humanity home for a hard-working family in Denver, and it has become an annual tradition at Zunesis. The event, which will be held at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, will feature Zunesis’ 2016 Habitat partner family, who will receive the keys to their new home during the event. To keynote the event, Zunesis is bringing back international speaker and 9-time New York Times bestselling author, Don Yeager.

For nearly a decade, Zunesis has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver in numerous ways, from donating time at corporate build days on Habitat construction sites, to financial donations, to spearheading their own fundraising efforts. The last of these was the original idea behind the Night of Miracles. Zunesis wanted to do more than support Habitat for Humanity on their own; they wanted to provide an avenue for their valued business partners to join them in giving back to the community.

“At Zunesis, we believe that we’re all stronger when we work together. That’s why we wanted to create a way for those who partner with us in business to also partner with us in making a positive impact on our community,” said Zunesis CEO, Steve Shaffer. Over the years, the Night of Miracles has become an event where multiple businesses work together to achieve one goal: raising enough money to build a home for a family in their community.

The evening itself will be a black tie event consisting of cocktails and dinner. Guests will enjoy access to select museum exhibits as well as an inspiring keynote. Most importantly, they will witness just how impactful their donations are as a family’s life is changed forever when they receive the keys to their new home.

On Tuesday, July 19th, the Zunesis team joined with Habitat of Metro Denver to work on the construction of the home for this year’s partner family.

DENVER, CO: Zunesis, an IT solution provider headquartered in Englewood, CO, has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver since 2008. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that partners with hard-working families to provide affordable and safe housing. Through this long-term partnership, Zunesis and Habitat have been able to fund and build a total of seven – and counting – homes in the Denver community.

Habitat for Humanity makes an incredible difference in the lives of their partner families. As a non-profit, they rely heavily on the partnership of the surrounding community to provide both the necessary funds and volunteer hours to build their homes.

Zunesis is a regular financial sponsor, and even hosts their own annual gala, the Night of Miracles, to raise funds for Habitat. However, the Zunesis team believes strongly in going above and beyond, so they do not stop with a financial donation. Each year, the entire company joins the Habitat construction crews to put in physical labor to help build homes.

“Writing a company check is great. I’m glad we do it,” noted Zunesis Marketing Manager, Megan Shaffer. “However, it doesn’t feel personal because it’s the company’s money. Getting out there, swinging a hammer, and meeting our partner family – that makes it personal. That makes us each feel like we’re investing in our community together.”

To add to that, Zunesis CEO Steve Shaffer commented, “This is one of my favorite days of the year. We believe so strongly in what Habitat does that it doesn’t even seem like we’re the ones donating anything. It’s truly our honor to be able to partner with this organization.”

As stated in the Zunesis Company Core Values, they believe strongly in two things:

  1. Building a strong team culture
  2. Making a positive impact on their community.

The annual build day with Habitat is a testament to these values, and each year, the company’s commitment to these values grows as the lives of both employees and home recipients are changed through partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

Zunesis is recognized in the CRN’s industry standard for the most successful solution provider companies, the Solution Provider 500.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 06, 2016

As 2016 begins there are two very large IT contributors going in opposite directions. On one side of the coin, we have Dell looking to acquire EMC for $67B, which is beyond comprehension. On the other side we have HP splitting itself in 2 and trimming itself down to better address the changing Enterprise market challenges. Which will rise to the surface may take a few years to know for sure (assuming we ever find out).

DELLware

Looking at – not sure what they will call themselves – DELLware (my choice) we see two giants trying to fill the whitespace neither has covered. Adding in the VMware factor on the EMC side and the majority Nutanix ownership with DELL gives rise to potential interesting future offering. That is if NSX has the legs necessary to carry the somewhat marginal offering in the Network space today. The acquisition price will surely require a large selloff of valued assets; and with all this, will there be any $’s left in R&D to make this new offering viable? Time will tell as it tells all.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise

David vs. GoliathWhile DELL/EMC are beginning their journey, HP has completed theirs and will be looking to hone its Enterprise offering in a more targeted way. HP has lost its voice over the past few years, and many of its longtime customers have “broken up” with HP technology. Cisco has made a huge dent into the Blade market, hurting what once was the cornerstone or HP’s future. Improvements in server density offerings like Moonshot should be well positioned for future high performance application scaling. HPE’s acquisition of Aruba has certainly improved HPE’s Network offering. With Openflow already being available on certain HPE switches, they are positioned nicely to chip away at Cisco in the Virtual Switch space.

HPE – being smaller and having taken the Capital hit needed to split off – sits in a very strong position for acquisitions to grow their portfolio…DELLware not so much. Stay tuned, this is going to be an interesting next few quarters as all of this comes into focus.
