Mr. Shafer has a proven track record of success in the technology and business process outsourcing for global companies including Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Fiserv and Firstsource. Since 2012, he has served as the CEO of Absolute Performance Inc., (API) and in 2021, Mr. Shafer also assumed the role of CEO for Zunesis, Inc.
His operating philosophy is to help / bring value to customers by providing proven and enhanced offerings and solutions that not only improve technology performance but assist in the growth and profitability of each organization.
Mr. Shafer has a passion for mentoring young entrepreneurs and early stage companies ranging from technology to environmentally friendly plant-based food manufacturing. He was also one of the founding parents for a K-12 school in Colorado that has been recognized as one of the Top 100 US High Schools for the past 12 years.
A proud parent of two successful young adults, Mr. Shafer enjoys spending time in the Denver / Boulder community where he resides and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
Michael Gosselin
Chief Technology Officer – Zunesis, Inc.
Mr. Gosselin has over 30 years experience in the IT industry. His first 15 years were spent working in the oil and gas industry in roles that included data center operations, desktop support, server support, project consulting, and solution development and deployment. Mr. Gosselin worked for an IT company to help create and define a pre-sales consulting organization. This experience has helped Mr. Gosselin develop a solid understanding of the industry from both operations and architecture perspectives.
In addition to his BSBA (with an emphasis on Information Systems), Mr. Gosselin has achieved accreditations such as Microsoft Certified Professional, HP BladeSystem ASE, VMware Certified Professional and ITIL Foundations for IT Service Management. Mr. Gosselin has also served on his children’s Swim team Board of Directors and has been a baseball coach and Scout Leader.
Tom Savage
President – Zunesis, Inc.
Mr. Savage has been part of the IT world for 20 years. He spent his first 6 years at HP Systems, and the last 14 years with Zunesis. During his time at Zunesis, Tom has worn many hats and served the company and its customers in many ways. Primary of those were spent as a sales leader within the organization. Mr. Savage works diligently to serve both customers and his teammates to the best of his ability. His team prides themselves in being responsive to customers and putting the customer first in every situation. He passionately believes that customer service and satisfaction are the differentiators for Zunesis in a crowded marketplace.
Mr. Savage moved to Colorado in 1999 and lived there until 2013. In 2013 he, his wife Jenny, and their sons Jacob and Noah moved to the Sioux Falls, SD region. He has since worked remote for Zunesis. In 2015, the Savages welcomed a little girl, Aubriella to their family. Tom serves on the board of directors for a local seminary, in addition to his time spent on Habitat or Humanity builds with Zunesis.
In his free time Tom enjoys golfing, hiking, running, and spending time with his family. He is a passionate sports fan, and loves the Denver Broncos and Penn State Football.
