• Zunesis Celebrates Their 12th Anniversary

    As of October 1st, 2016, Zunesis has been serving customers in the Rocky Mountain region for 12 years.

    Zunesis, an IT solutions partner headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, is thrilled to be celebrating their 12th anniversary on October 1st, 2016. Since the company’s incorporation, they have expanded into Nevada, Wyoming, and Montana. In 2008, they acquired MicroVantage, a Las Vegas-based VAR, that has now become a huge part of their business.

    Founded in 2004, Zunesis has spent over a decade seeking to serve their customers and enrich their community. The company attributes their success to their unwavering dedication to three core values:

    2.    Develop a strong team culture: The company’s unique name is derived from the Greek word “Sunesis,” which means “multiple sources of knowledge and understanding flowing together to create something greater than the sum of the parts.” In essence, it means synergy. Zunesis believes strongly that each member of their team is valuable and necessary, and they work hard at working well together.

     

    3.    Invest in making a positive impact on their community: Zunesis has developed a strong partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. Over the years, Zunesis has provided hundreds of volunteer work hours, corporate build days, leadership on Habitat’s board of directors, and very generous financial contributions to Habitat. In 2011, Zunesis started an annual fundraiser for Habitat called the Night of Miracles. Each year, this event raises enough money to fund an entire home for a hard-working local family.

     

    Zunesis CEO, Steve Shaffer, is thrilled about the anniversary milestone and said that he couldn’t be more grateful for his team and all of their hard work in getting the company to where it is today. “I am blown away by what a great team we have at Zunesis,” he commented. “When we started this company, we wanted to serve our clients and our community. That has been possible over the years because we have such incredible people on staff.”
